Well I am fairly Velasquezian too. I wear a beard like Philip II because of too strong a jaw. NW European genes for mouths and jaws and noses are notoriously unstable.
I had the great honour of meeting Carlos Fuentes, who wrote ” Terra Nostra”. Philip II kept Hieronymous Bosch’s ” Garden of Earthly Delights” by his bed in the Escorial.
